We are an online retail store selling quality handcrafted felted goods from Nepal, in particular the women in the Terai region. It is our aim to raise awareness about the barriers these women face such domestic violence and gender inequality. These women struggle for economic independence and many have had no education and no access to medical care. It is our aim to support them and create social change by promoting their products through our store in Australia. We want the consumer to connect with the product and its maker as this is what Sparks Joi in our lives. We currently stock limited ranges of nuno felt and silk scarfs, head wear including festival hats, fairy houses, flower garlands and necklaces. Lets do our bit to uplift these beautiful women. When purchasing from SparksJoi you are empowering the women in this community for sustainable development and help end the cycle of poverty in their families.
